FITC Training - Case studies contd

A Pre-Retirement workshop for the retiring executives of NDIC
As part of the sound staff welfare package of the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), FITC Training was commissioned to organise a five-day workshop on pre-retirement planning for its retiring executives. The programme, which was held at The Gambia, witnessed extensive practical sessions and discussions on life after paid employment.

Combating Money Laundering
A collaborative effort commenced since 2008 between FITC Training and the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The workshop, which has been an eye-opener, has benefited one hundred and fifty-nine (159) participants across various sectors of the Nigerian economy from inception till date.

A Board Retreat on Corporate Governance
On September 6, 2010, the Management of the Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development Bank Limited commissioned the FITC to design and deliver a two-day retreat on Corporate Governance for members of its board. The retreat which was held at Tinapa, Cross Rivers was held on 20 & 21 September, 2010 had the full members of the board in attendance.

Retreat on The Effect of Work-Life Balance on Employee Productivity
On November 9, 2010, the Management of the Centre for Management Development (CMD) commissioned FITC to run a three day strategy retreat for senior staff members of the centre. The retreat, which was held between 29 November -1 December took place at Rock Training Centre, Zuma, Niger State with forty-seven participants in attendance.
