Click on the interested publication(s), add to your shopping cart, then click on “Proceed to Checkout “, reconfirm your order(s) and shipping cost, then click on “Place Order” to select your preferred method of payment, and complete transaction. Thereafter, an email would be sent to you, stating the status of your transaction. You may also check the status of your transaction from “Your Orders” on the right hand side of your “Account Information” (You can view your account information by clicking on “My Account” tab at the top right hand of the Virtual Library home page). Below are the statuses you may receive:
- Pending - this means that you have submitted your order but yet to make payment.
- Paid - this means that you have successfully made payment (online payments get an automatic confirmation, cash payments get instant confirmation, while bank deposit may take a day or two before confirmation).
- Processing - this means that your order is being processed.
- Complete - this could either mean your publication(s) has been shipped or your Library registration has been completed, or your EBSCOHost account has been created.
- Cancelled - this is when you cancel an order before making payment.
- Failed - this is when your payment fails (either online transaction failed or bank details submitted were found to be unverifiable).
- Bank - this is when you have submitted your bank payment details.
- Denied - this is when your order is denied for certain reasons (e.g. false information supplied for the Pius Okigbo Library registration).
